Dale's Trip to Kodiak (September 2007)

The rivers in Kodiak had huge runs of pink and silver salmon while we were there. Here they are so plentiful you could almost walk on water.
The big fishermen
Dale's big king salmon
Dave caught this 265 lb halibut. We all caught limits on halibut and threw them back if they were under 50 lbs.!
Larry with a 35 lb king salmon, the biggest of the trip. In 3 days the 5 fishermen had caught one ton of salmon and halibut.

that thing is monstrous! all i think about when i see that picture is "what if i was swimming in the ocean and saw that thing right next to me?"

Looks like fun was had by all. Glad you all caught your limit. I hope you still have some to share with us.
